“The Mini-Vinnies” This band is the feeder group to our intermediate ensemble. Last year, “The Vinnies” became so popular that the younger students asked to form “The Mini-Vinnies”. These students in grades 5-6 at St. Vincent Catholic School in Chatham, Ontario study piano individually in music class and then work together on their recess as a musical team. Once they select their music, they collaborate and together they decide who will play what instrument and how it will come together. Everyone is able to choose their individual role and also be part of this amazing musical team! Enjoy their version of “Treat You Better” including vocals, piano, boomwhackers, barred percussion, cajon, and autoharp.
