Our school here in Fort McMurray has a talented music group. This is our third year performing a Canadian cover song for the CBC music challenge. For this project, we combined our after school music club, known as the “St. Paul Panthers Band” (seen here performing drums, piano, steel drum, ukuleles and lead vocals), with our division 2 choir, and a few additional eager students accompanying them. We had 2 students and an additional teacher volunteer to help with set design, camera work, and lighting. All of our students in this project are in grades 4, 5 and 6. Our group has worked hard to practice their instrumentation, vocals and timing. They are passionate performers, and most of all, everyone had a great time!
